Travel 6.2 miles. Turn left onto Hwy. 307. From Hwy 90, turn left on 24 to Shriever, 24 merges into hwy 20, thru Thibodaux & Chackbay, travel approx. 4.5 miles, turn right onto 307  My shop is located 1.8 miles on the left. Banging On the Bayou 2012 Louisiana Artist Metalsmiths Association, LAMA is holding their 2012 conference  – “Banging On the Bayou” set for Saturday and Sunday  March 10 and 11, 2012 at the grounds of Beaver Park, on Fisher Road, next to Vermilionville historic village, across from the airport, in Lafayette, Louisiana Gordon Williams   will demonstrate for this years great two day event.  Sign-in starts at 8:00 AM and Gordon is set to start demonstrating at 9 AM.  A tailgate area will be set up for your buying or sale of tools and “stuff”.  Lunch is included for Saturday and Sunday.  An auction in the evening and raffle drawing for a box of handmade blacksmith tools, followed by an evening crawfish boil on site will culminate Saturdays’ activities.  See the LAMA website for raffle tickets.  Admission is only $35 Prior to March 1 , or $45 thereafter, for the two days activities including lunch.  For more information, contact Larry Blanchard at 337-654-4684   ljblanchard1@cox.net We Hope To See You There!
