These are basically a
variation of the "Russian
Rose". One thing I did differently was to forge the flower wider at the
end. The end forms the outer petals. This way when I rolled it up, I
kept the tips of the petals even and had enough material to swage the
base of the flower in toward the stem. A hint when doing the swaging -
use pipe tongs and grab the flower. That keeps it from unwrapping.
