Tomahawk:
High Carbon Spike Upset
shaft of spike so total length was 4” before forging blade.
Did initial upsetting of point in vise.
Then used bolster to not deform head while upsetting.
Bolster was formed by a driving cold spike into hot chunk of 1” thick scrap.

Letter Opener Low Carbon

Lizard
RR Spike with 3/8” round
legs forge welded on.
Back scale pattern by hammering into farrier's rasp
I've also made coat
hooks, broom handle,
“Walking Stick” ( spike with head intact stretched to 34”), and a fireplace
poker.
